The OG Christmas special, back when we didn’t know what to expect. I just watched Avia’s vlog of Emmi’s 17th birthday!! Hard to believe I was only 12 when I first started watching you guys and I’m now as old as Colette was back then! Thanks for the vlogs guys, it was a blast! ❤️

That story was very inspirational in so many ways. I just turned 35 and I feel stuck just like you did. I've been working warehouses pretty much my whole adult life so far and I HATE it. I've gained some valuable experience and developed some skills, I can operate a stand up forklift better than a lot of people I've come across but still I dont want to do it any more. I got burned out a few years ago and started going from warehouse job to warehouse job cuz I couldn't stay at one spot too long. I quit my last job over a year ago and I havent been able to find another warehouse job since, it's all I know. So idk if thats some kind of sign to look for something else. If it is, I have no idea what to do. I really dont have a passion for anything, nothing excites me. I feel like Im just waiting for something to come along. Ive been sitting at home so bored, alone, no friends, no girlfriend (of course), no real motivation to do anything. I feel like such a loser. I feel so lost and worthless. Ive literally been praying everyday for God to give me something, anything. I want to start a family some day. I want to be a husband and a father but the way things have been looking for me I'll never have that, I'll never be good enough for that. I just pray something comes along, I pray that something sparks inside of me. I try to be positive everyday, I try to be thankful for everything I have, I try to choose happiness and positivity but it's hard when every single day is the same. I just want my life to change so bad. I've never been this low in my life, I just hope that this means that it's only uphill from here. That maybe I have to go through this low before things get better, maybe better than they've ever been. Again, thanks Shay. You are and have been a source of inspiration for a long time. I've been watching these vlogs since about this time. 15 years, wow!

i remember watching this when it came out in the fall of 2018 and it has been in my playlist ever since... I cant believe watching this 5+ years later and Avia and I are both al grown up... I have have forgotten about this when listening to it, but now that this video was somehow recommended again to me and rewatching it, it brings tears to me remembering that I was just a kid and how this song has stuck with me so many years and where i truly remember it from. Such a beautiful song with a beautiful story, hence why it has been a favorite for 5+ years. I thank god for putting this back in my recommended to bring back so many memories and to remind me where this song was originally from and why it has stuck with me..
